The firm has recruited charity specialist, Lee Marshall as Accounts Manager, whilst Chris Reed returns to the firm, also as an Accounts Manager, after 20 years.
Lee joins Clayton & Brewill from small accountancy practice Cound & Co, where he has worked for the past 12 years; prior to that Lee has worked at HKS Greenhalgh and Hacker Young.
Lee has a broad range of accountancy experience and has worked with businesses of various sizes, across a range of sectors. He has substantial experience of working with clients in the charity and not for profit sector.
“I’m excited to join Clayton & Brewill. They have a great reputation and a good amount of charity clients who I’m looking forward to working with. I’m also looking forward to using my knowledge and expertise to grow our charity portfolio.”
Chris returns to Clayton & Brewill after leaving 20 years ago. Chris previously worked at Clayton & Brewill from 1990 to 1997.
During his absence from Clayton & Brewill, Chris has worked at HKS Greenhalgh, Mazars and Pinpoint Business Services (Nottingham). He has advised a large number of small owner-managed and family run businesses.
“I’m looking forward to working for a firm that I know shares my belief in building strong relationships with clients through being friendly and approachable.
“I enjoy working in a friendly and down to earth environment, and have already been made very welcome by new colleagues, as well as those I worked with during my previous time at the firm.”
Neil South, partner at Clayton & Brewill, comments:
“We’re delighted to welcome Lee to the Clayton & Brewill team, as well as also welcoming back Chris.
